Shireen Pais, MD, FACG

Shireen Andrade Pais, MD, FACG, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College. Dr. Pais is also Director of Endoscopy, Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatobiliary Diseases, Advanced Physician Services, at Westchester Medical Center. She completed her medical education at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, India, followed by a residency at Columbia University Medical Center, New York, NY, and a fellowship at the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles. Dr. Pais also completed a fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at Indiana University in Indianapolis. Dr. Pais is a fellow of the ACG, ASGE, and AGA, and a member of the New York Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, and Women in Interventional Endoscopy. She has served as ACG Governor of Southern New York (2016-2022), and on the ACG Practice Management Committee, and has served on the ASGE Abstract Review Committee. Dr. Pais has also reviewed abstracts for Video GIE. Dr. Pais has received awards and professional recognition from the following: Best Doctors New York, Best Doctors Westchester (2014-date), Top Doctors, Exceptional Women in Medicine (2020-2022), and WIHD 2010 Providing Healthcare for people with developmental disabilities.
