Mohammad Bilal, MD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota and an advanced endoscopist at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. Dr. Bilal's clinical interests lie in advanced endoscopic tissue resection, third space endoscopy and endoscopic innovation and he is passionate about medical education. He is the recipient of several teaching, clinical and research awards. Dr Bilal is passionate about the use of social media in medical education and advocacy, and is the founder of "#ScopingSundays" - a social media based endoscopy and advanced endoscopy educational platform on social media. Dr. Bilal serves on the ACG Training committee and the ACG Professionalism Committee and is a proud alumni of the ACG Young Physicians Leadership Scholars program. Dr. Bilal has over 160 peer-reviewed publications and has presented over 150 abstracts in national meetings.
