Jessica Korman, MD, is currently a gastroenterologist in private practice with Capital Digestive Care in Washington, D.C. A native of the Washington metropolitan area, Dr. Korman received her medical degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Her post-graduate training included an internship and residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Korman serves as the Medical Director for the Endoscopy Center of Washington DC and directs the Capital Digestive Care Anal Neoplasia program. Dr. Korman is a member of the International Anal Neoplasia Society (IANS), is the co-director of the IANS high-resolution anoscopy training course and an investigator in the ANCHOR study, a national, NCI/NIH funded trial to determine whether screening and treatment of high-grade anal neoplasia prevents anal cancer in individuals living with HIV. Her interests include Inflammatory Bowel Disease, colon and anal cancer prevention.
