Victor Chedid, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He received his medical degree at the American University of Beirut and a Masters in Clinical Research at Mayo Clinic Graduate School. He completed his internal medicine training at the University of Pittsburgh, and his gastroenterology fellowship, and inflammatory bowel disease fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He joined the faculty at Mayo Clinic Rochester in 2020, where he is a member of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease interest group. His primary clinical and research interests include health equity in IBD in the LGBTQ+ community. He has developed a the Pride in IBD clinic at Mayo Clinic that focuses on LGBTQ+ health in IBD patients. He is a Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center Fellow focusing his time on improving healthcare delivery for LGBTQ+ individuals with IBD and GI disorders.
