Ross Buerlein, MD, is an Interventional Endoscopist at the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, VA. Dr. Buerlein has an interest in endoscopy educations and has created a hands-on course for his fellows to better improve their endoscopy skills and further their understanding in this field. Dr. Buerlein's areas of research interest include endobiliary ablataion for cholangiocarcinoma, optimizing and discovering novel diagnostic modalities for cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cysts, and endoscopic pancreatic cyst ablation. Dr. Buerlein's areas of clinical interest include ERCP, EUS (particularly in the areas of pancreatic cysts), and endoscopic tissue resection in the form of EMR and ESD.
