Fouad J. Moawad, MD, FACG, is an Associate Professor of Medicine and works at Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, CA. He received his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University and his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. His research interests include esophageal disorders, particularly eosinophilic esophagitis, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
