Arun Jesudian, MD, FACG, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and a Transplant Hepatologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell, where he currently serves as the Director of Liver Quality and Inpatient Liver Services. His clinical and research focus is in improving the outcomes of patients with cirrhosis and particularly those who require hospitalization. He serves on several national committees where he has been tasked with developing practice guidelines and quality measures pertaining to liver disease. He has been an investigator in numerous clinical trials and a frequently invited speaker. Dr. Jesudian has published over 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts and serves on the editorial board of the journal Liver Transplantation. An avid medical educator, he has mentored many medical students, residents, and fellows in Hepatology.
