Simona Jakab, MD, is Associate Professor at Medicine at Yale University in the Section of Digestive Diseases, Chief of the Liver Inpatient Service at Yale New Haven Hospital, and Associate Chief of Digestive Diseases (Hepatology) at VA Connecticut Healthcare System. She is an experienced clinician, educator, and investigator in several clinical trials. She is passionate to improve the inpatient and outpatient management of patients with cirrhosis, in particular transitions of care, and multidisciplinary collaboration with palliative care and addiction medicine.
