Haripriya Maddur, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine. She completed her medical studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, followed by an internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern. She subsequently completed her Gastroenterology fellowship at Indiana University and, more recently, her transplant hepatology fellowship at Northwestern. Her area of interest is alcohol-related liver disease, specifically, early liver transplantation for alcohol-associated hepatitis. She also has an interest in the utility of biomarkers in the assessment of ongoing alcohol use. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
