Megan A. Adams, MD, JD, MSc, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan (UM), Core Faculty of the UM Gastroenterology Clinical T32 Training Program, and a Research Investigator at the VA Ann Arbor Center for Clinical Management Research. Her research is focused primarily on optimizing specialty care access and delivery by helping to define, measure, and implement high-value care across diverse practice settings. As both a practicing gastroenterologist and a trained attorney, she is an expert in medico-legal issues in gastroenterology, health law, and medical ethics, and has contributed numerous invited articles and national meeting presentations on these topics.
