Jennifer L. Maranki, MD, MSc, is a Professor of Medicine and Director of Endoscopy at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where her practice focuses on interventional endoscopy, including ERCP, EUS, and EMR. After earning her BA in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, she went on to complete her medical education at Temple University, where she stayed on for her Internal Medicine residency. She spent four years at the University of Virginia for her Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship, where she also completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Research and a 4th year Advanced Endoscopy fellowship. Her main clinical interests are pancreatobiliary and luminal malignancies, and her research has included work on endoscopy education, pancreatic cyst ablation, and colorectal cancer screening. She is active in local, regional, and national GI societies, having directed, organized, and served as faculty for several courses. She lives in Hershey with her husband and two daughters.
