Peter Draganov, MD, FACG, is Professor of Medicine and Director of advanced therapeutic endoscopy at the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He completed medical school in Bulgaria and then trained in Medicine and Gastroenterology including advanced therapeutic endoscopy at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC. Dr. Draganov's clinical interest is in advanced therapeutic endoscopy including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), cholangioscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), and deep small bowel enteroscopy. His research interests are in the areas of outcomes research, new technology evaluation, and training in advanced endoscopic procedures.
