Baharak "Baha" Moshiree, MD, MSc, FACG, is a Professor of Medicine and Director of Motility in the Division of Gastroenterology at Wake Forest Medical University at Atrium Health, in Charlotte, NC. She trained at the University of Florida for a combined undergraduate and medical school, later gastroenterology fellowship with a focus on functional bowel diseases and motility disorders. Baha Moshiree is the newest PI on the NIH Gastroparesis consortium and focuses on research in gastroparesis, intestinal pseudo-obstruction, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and Cystic fibrosis. She is an associate editor for the red journal. She has also served on the ACG task force and on ACG's Research Committee, and was a Course Co-Director for the ACG 2023 Annual Postgraduate Course in Vancouver. Baha is now Course oc-Director of the ACG Functional GI and Motility Disorders School. Baha is also the education Chair for the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society. She is excited to be course director for ACGS Functional Bowel and Motility School.
